What makes you feel proud?

I love seeing my clients who own small businesses in OKC learn how to be confident in sharing their stories. As we discuss their vision for their company, I see them light up as they discover the importance of what they’re doing! Celebrating the beauty in what they see as mundane is one of my favorite parts of my work, and then I get to tell the world on their social media profiles!

What keeps you up at night?

I actually am a crazy good sleeper and a champion napper! If I ever struggle with sleep, it’s when I wake up early in the morning, which is my favorite part of the day. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? To make decisions caring for the most vulnerable around you.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

My mom! She is the hardest worker I know, the biggest celebrator and can do anything she sets her mind to. She is someone you want on your team, in any scenario. She raised her children and then went back to school when my youngest brother was in high school and set a new career path for herself. I’m so proud of her! My mom has also been my best friend as long as I can remember, and I’m so grateful for her example in my life.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

Seeing the people in front of you! It is so easy to be swept away in the busyness of life and not hear one another’s stories. I am also guilty of this, but every time I put my phone down and listen to the beautiful people around me, I hear what they love and what they are passionate about and I’m so grateful I listened. It is such a gift to make connections with others!
