Ashley believes it doesn’t take much to change someone’s day for the better, so she seeks out opportunities to be kind, caring and helpful to all those she encounters.

What keeps you up at night?

Making sure all of my planning is in motion. Between being a small business owner and mom, having a plan in place for our week makes everything run smoother and helps with a good night’s sleep!

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

My Mother for sure. I’ve grown up seeing her change strangers’ days around just for the joy of it. She is so giving and obnoxiously helpful! I hope to show the same love to everyone like she does.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I hope I’m making more of an impact on my community. I want to take the success of our store and spread positivity and inclusiveness throughout OKC. I hope to have more confidence in the positive impact I could make and give back to the community that has welcomed and supported us this year.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

Helping those experiencing homelessness in the community obtain safe and sustainable housing, with access to resources that are proactive.
