Ashley Schubert

Somewhere along the journey of owning her own business and raising six children, Ashley realized that the balance women often seek is not nearly as important as just finding a rhythm that works for your individual family. Now she’s committed to helping other women find theirs.

What makes you feel proud?

I believe my sense of pride comes from knowing I am living in God’s will—listening to His voice and stepping out in faith—even if that often means “doing it afraid.” My family makes me proud and getting to make memories with them is a treasure! Working with my clients and helping them accomplish their goals makes me feel gratified.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

The Bible is my source of knowledge and truth. Listening to podcasts and reading books from other great leaders teaches me so much and provides valuable mentorship. My parents helped mold me into a person who believes in hard work and treating others well.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

Being an enneagram 3, being successful or seen as successful is a huge motivator for me. That allows me to work hard, achieve goals and grind. The biggest obstacle to that is never feeling like I have done enough and worrying about how I am viewed by others. It’s been a challenge my whole life to see that I am valued for who I am rather than “what I do.” It feels very vulnerable to say that out loud and I’ve found that vulnerability is hard for me. I am a work in progress and God is graciously guiding me daily.

“God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.”

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

I would like for moms in particular to know that we can be both great parents and great entrepreneurs (or whatever their chosen path is). We don’t have to choose one or the other. God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called.
