Danielle Preston
She defines her typical day as “a beautiful mess,” but Danielle is embracing all the lessons in the messiness. She wears a lot of hats, but in all her roles she believes she’s set apart by working hard and staying humble.
What keeps you up at night?
Trying to be the best version of myself. Making sure my dreams become a reality. As an innovator, I am at least two years ahead so it is important that I stay grounded.
Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?
My children, because they’ve taught me so much about myself. Viewing the world through their eyes is a reminder to enjoy the small things, to explore, be fearless, be expressive, etc. Cheers to Sydney and Frederick IV for being my biggest influence.
What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?
Challenges in life are given. Each one is an opportunity for personal growth and self improvement. I think my biggest obstacle is getting out of my own head. The goal is to be the best version of myself despite life’s obstacles.
“The goal is to be the best version of myself despite life’s obstacles.”
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
One of my favorite quotes states that being humble means recognizing we are not on Earth to see how important we can become, but to see how much difference we can make in the lives of others. Life is a long lesson in humility.
