Ciara Amir

She’s one of Oklahoma’s leading micropigmentologists and has provided makeup work for celebrity clients like Kevin Durant, Serge Ibaka and Alfre Woodard. But, Ciara’s true passions are offering inclusive services and providing training to pull women out of poverty and put them on a prosperous career path.

What makes you feel proud?

I feel most proud that I’ve created a culture of women investing in themselves and to be at the forefront of normalizing luxury beauty services for women of all ethnicities. I truly believe that when you look great, you feel great and from there you’re able to accomplish amazing things.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I hope to be teaching more. Increasing a woman’s confidence with a permanent makeup service is an incredible feeling, however changing a woman’s life by helping her change her career is empowering.

“I know that all it takes is empowering one woman for her entire village to change.”

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

Growing up in poverty, I know firsthand that it impacts every area of your life on a cellular level. Through a scholarship I’ve created for my training program, I hope to help pull women from poverty to prosperity by showing them a trade that has the ability to radically improve their earning potential. I know that all it takes is empowering one woman for her entire village to change.

What keeps you up at night?

Nothing keeps me up at night. I’m extremely passionate about healthy sleep, hygiene and dismantling grind culture.
