Christine Golden

She’s an absolute marketing powerhouse, but Christine uses her influence and past experiences to help other women fight for their own version of “success,” even if it’s not what they once thought it would be.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

My own tendency to prioritize performance over people and results over relationships is probably my biggest obstacle. I have to force myself to slow down and connect with the people around me. Balancing the needs of my clients and my family has always been a challenge because they’re often in direct competition for my time and attention.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

I want working moms to have more support, flexibility and opportunities to have a fulfilling career while continuing to be present and engaged with their families.

“I want working moms to have more support, flexibility and opportunities to have a fulfilling career while continuing to be present and engaged with their families.”

What makes you feel proud?

Speaking up for myself—my boundaries, priorities and the value I bring to the table.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

It wasn’t given to me personally, but this quote from the book “Present Over Perfect” changed everything for me. “There we were, women in our 30s. Educated, married, mothers, women who have careers, who manage homes and oversee companies. And there we were, utterly resigned to lives that feel overly busy and pressurized, disconnected and exhausted...Who’s the boss, if not us? Who’s forcing us to live this way?”

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

My community of girlfriends is incredible. They’re smart, funny, kind, caring and selfless. They have taught me how to love unconditionally, how to put others’ needs before my own and helped me enjoy this crazy ride.
