What makes Tiffany Wildly Capable?

Tiffany uses her unique life experiences to make a difference in the lives of others and we are all better because of it. Tiffany uses her experience as a parent to a child with special needs, a parent to a child adopted out of foster care and more to help others facing similar joys and challenges.” KELLI DUPUY

What makes you feel proud?

I think I am most proud of being a mother! I know it’s cliché, but I don’t think I’ve done anything better in my entire 38 years of life! My oldest daughter was born with cerebral palsy among many other needs and I was her primary caretaker for most of her life while also working. I also have two more sons and then adopted my youngest daughter after fostering her for two years. Advocating and caring for my children has truly been my greatest accomplishment!

What keeps you up at night?

I am terrified of my children not being the best versions of themselves. My wish would be to raise healthy, whole, well- rounded, mentally sound individuals who go on to leave their mark on this crazy world.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

My biggest obstacle would have to be figuring out how to continue to find joy after laying my oldest daughter, SaNiyah, to rest. She passed away on January 20, 2023.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

State-funded, unconditional childcare and resources for children of all abilities, but especially for children with special needs, is such a needed resource in our community. I work at Special Care, and it is the only school of its kind in Oklahoma. There are so many children in our community who need quality programs like Special Care, but there are just not enough opportunities to go around.
