Marek Cornett
Marek’s a wife, mom, community servant & business owner. Here’s how she describes her typical day:
As a mom who works, getting my brood of children up, fed, dressed and out the door is just the start. After I drop all four of my boys off at daycare, it's time to work! I generally make it to my favorite co-working space by 8:30 and work until lunch. At that point, it's time to be home manager, wife, mom and woman. Depending on the day, that may mean throwing a load of laundry in the wash or grabbing groceries, squeezing in a workout or picking up birthday party decorations. From 2-4, I almost always work from home. At 4, I shut things down and start dinner, do another chore or run another errand. Then around 5, I pick up two of my kids from daycare (my husband gets the other two). Then it's home for the mad dash that is dinner, a walk around the neighborhood, tearing my toddler away from the park, and bedtime routine. By 8 on a good day, everyone is in bed. I'm usually falling asleep by 10.
