Kimberly Crown

In more than 20 years as a nanny, Kimberly has a seemingly unending supply of empathy and respect for even her tiniest clients. She’s been able to use those things to leave a mark of compassion and kindness on the next generation.

What makes you feel proud?

I feel proud when I see all 16 babies I’ve taken care of, since they were tiny humans, turn into beautiful souls. And knowing I had a tiny role in making that happen.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

My Mom and Dad. They taught me by example to love God. To love one another. To be grateful. And to always remember who I am.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

Moving 1800 miles away from my family, mostly my sisters.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I really would love to be a mommy. A fur-mommy would be okay too.

“I feel proud when I see all 16 babies I’ve taken care of, since they were tiny humans, turn into beautiful souls. And knowing I had a tiny role in making that happen.”

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

Out here in the country, people dump dogs. I would love for that to end.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

I’m perfectly and beautifully made to be just the way I am. By a Perfect Maker.
