Jennifer Carlson

At the height of the pandemic, Jennifer took a creative pursuit and turned it into a business with a mission to give back to help victims of human trafficking.

What makes you feel proud?

My son makes me feel proud. He has an amazing heart and is always looking out for others.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

I think my biggest influence in life, besides becoming a parent, has to be my husband. He is the most supportive, patient, loving and positive person I know.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

Finding a new job in every city has been my biggest obstacle to overcome. Being a military wife and moving every couple of years has led to having to be very adaptable.

“I’m always striving to learn as much as I can so a year from now I hope to be a better mother, wife and business owner.”

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I’m always striving to learn as much as I can so a year from now I hope to be a better mother, wife and business owner.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

I would love for more people to be aware of human trafficking in Oklahoma.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

Never settle.
