Elizabeth Cox

What makes Elizabeth Wildly Capable?

“Recognizing her life was being controlled by fear and unforgiveness, Elizabeth made the tough decision to forgive those who have hurt her and has been encouraging everyone around her to walk in the freedom of forgiveness, too.” HANNAH SCHMITT

What makes you feel proud?

Having a positive impact on someone’s life. Choosing to walk in wholeness everyday.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

The biggest influence in my life is the same person I had to forgive: my mom. She’s my biggest influence because the more I sat with my past and allowed myself to have compassion for my mother and where she was in her own life, the more I realized that she never got a chance to heal from her own trauma. Her trauma was reflected back on me to try and save me from repeating the same mistakes. So I heal for her, myself and the generation that comes after me. I also heal for the little girl that never got to heal... my mother.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

One year from today I hope to be different by fully believing the healed version of me. What that means to me is walking into the fullness of what God is doing in my life without fear.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

Helping women heal from past trauma so that it can free them to live in the present and have a better future. I want women to walk in wholeness and live the abundant life God has for them.
