Rebecca Hartwig

Each morning Rebecca asks her kids “What kind of day are we going to have?” and they reply “The best day ever!” And that’s exactly the kind of energy she takes into every element of her life.

What makes you feel proud?

I will never regret taking the risk to start my own business; not being afraid of failure. I'm proud to create a work culture that prioritizes your life outside of work; building your culture at home. I started this company in 2017 from nothing; no loans or investors. In less than five years; we do about $2.5 million in revenue. We have survived Covid and everything else that happened during 2020 until now. It's amazing what a little grit, passion and perseverance can get you!

What keeps you up at night?

My employees. I feel I have gained additional children. I want to care, nurture, grow and take care of them as if they were my own.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

My husband and my boys. They truly influence every decision I make.

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

Gaining self-confidence that I can do anything I set my mind to and keeping that confidence when obstacles do come my way.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

I would love to engage more women into the ideas of starting their own business and paving their own path. Sometimes we have to break our own glass ceiling.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I hope I'm taking better care of myself. I care for so many people, sometimes I forget about my self-care.

“Sometimes we have to break our own glass ceiling.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

When faced with uncharted waters, remember: We do something we have never done before every single day. Don't let that hold you back.
