Hundred Magazine features 100 women in Oklahoma City each year based on their character, not their accomplishment. Below are answers to some questions you might have about appearing in our magazine.

Why was I nominated?

To keep Hundred from becoming a popularity contest, we simply ask former honorees to nominate women within their own communities who have outstanding character. You were nominated by a former honoree because she believed you embody our Wildly Capable Pledge.

We feature a variety of different women from different backgrounds. You can see previous honorees here. If you have a momentary thought like “I’m not worthy of being honored” or “I’m not ____ enough to be in this magazine,” just stop. We want to honor you!

What do I need to do to appear in the magazine?

We need your interview and your photo. We conduct interviews digitally, which you can complete here.

Our photo shoots for Issue 04 take place at The Treasury (10 N Lee Ave) and you may find available appointment times here.

What will the interview be like?

We ask all our honorees the same questions. Your responses are inputted digitally and then edited for clarity and length. You will have an opportunity to see the edited interview before we publish, so please don’t overthink your responses! We will be in touch if anything needs clarification. To help you prepare, these are the questions you will be asked:

• Help us get to know you. What's a typical day like for you?

• Why do you think you were nominated for this?

• What makes you feel proud?

• What keeps you up at night?

• Who is the biggest influence in your life?

• What's been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

• One year from today, how do you hope you're different?

• What's the single biggest problem you would like to solve in your community?

• What's the best advice you've ever received?

How should I prepare for my photo shoot?

We want you to look like you! So wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Our advertising partner Drybar has generously offered free blowouts to all our honorees before getting photographed for Issue 04! How to book your blowout:

Email pam.nath@drybarshops.com with the following details:

1. Your name and phone number

2. The day you want to book plus two available time options for your appointment (blowouts take one hour)

3. Let her know if you have extensions, textured, extra long or curly hair

The cost of your blowout is completely covered ($55) but please tip your stylist and show @Drybarshops_OKC some love on social media to thank them. 

What happens at the photo shoot?

Navigate to The Treasury (10 N Lee Ave) and park either in metered street parking, or use their free lot located behind Joey’s Pizza at the corner of Lee and California. If you use this lot, there is a QR code at the parking lot to scan, which will be validated upon entry of the building.

You will then be welcomed by our photo team. You can expect the photo shoot to take no more than 15 minutes.

When will my issue be printed? What happens next?

Issue 04 is our 2025 issue, but we will print it at the end of 2024. At that time, we will invite you to a special launch event to celebrate you.

What’s the catch?

There is no catch! Unlike many pay-to-play lists, we do not ask honorees for money. We gift you two issues of the magazine and plan events and experiences throughout the year at no cost to you. We just ask you continue to share your story to inspire women around you!
