Tracy Zserdin

Tracy is affectionately known as a “firecracker full of love,” and somewhere between running a business and hosting a podcast, she makes time to pour into everyone around her.

What keeps you up at night?

Fear. Doubt. Worry. My oldest son Isaac, 22, is a felon and has been in and out of mental health facilities, jail and prison since he was 15. It is so heartbreaking watching someone you love make poor choices over and over again. When you know his real potential, yet he has forgotten who he is and habitually sabotages his life. Yes, my son is a criminal but I will never give up on him, and I hope that gives him the motivation to believe in himself. Will Jake (our 18-year-old) achieve his dream by receiving an offer to play college baseball? Will Kace (our foster baby) be able to talk clearly? Will our business make it and provide for our family?”

What's the best advice you've ever received?

Stop thinking so much about me. Stop having vain imaginations. We worry so much about what others think about us. Chances are, they aren't thinking of me at all, and if they are it is none of my business what they think. Be comfortable with who I am and get out there and love people.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?

For women to see themselves as Jesus does. To boldly step into their strengths and find joy. As the saying goes, "The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." If we can be secure in who we are we can love others and show them how to do the same.

One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?

I hope that I am more patient. Able to face fear more boldly. More accepting of myself and my gaps.
