While she garners a lot of attention for being a triplet mom, Marek’s also an industry trailblazer committing her talents not just to her business, but to vital community projects as well.
What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?
I’m just now getting through this. When we found out we were having triplets, so many things that were a constant in my life were up in the air: my job, my health insurance, my income, my health, my car, my house. And all of that had to be figured out in the span of six months. It was/still is a lot. But it forced me into beginning my own business which has been the greatest change for our family.
What makes you feel proud?
I absolutely love when I see those around me succeed. And if I can play a part in that success, it makes me beam with pride.
What keeps you up at night?
Babies. So many babies.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?
It feels disingenuous to give credit to a single person because everyone I have in my life influences me in some way. My husband, my Mom, my best friends, my kids, my clients, my co-working co-workers, past co-workers, just so many people who have influenced me.
One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?
I hope I’ve finally landed on my business plan, how I want it to flourish. I hope I feel in control of my work-home-mom flow. And I hope I’m getting more sleep.
