What makes you feel proud?

My reviews and the returning customers. I love how people brag on my work and how well I did it as well as how I made them feel. I care more about how I make clients feel than how much I am paid. I listen, soak it all in and execute. I feel like I am a great business owner and my customers actually mean so much to me. Treating people as I desire to be treated may sound cliché but it’s what separates me from others.

Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?

My sister, who is one of my biggest supporters. She works hard and loves even harder. I strive to be as great of a women as she is every day.

What keeps you up at night?

Worrying about my family and making sure my clients are always happy. I balance a full time position that I’ve had for 23 years, then I leave at the end of the day to do permanent makeup, and I also have a real estate business I’ve been doing since 2018. Add to that four kids and my husband of 15 years and my days are busy!

What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?

Trying to transition from working for someone else to working for myself. Having enough confidence to just go for it.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

There is never a “right time.” Have faith and bet on myself.
