Aditi Panchal
After committing to practice a skill every day for a year, Aditi is inspiring everyone around her to take risks and go after what they want.
Who is the biggest influence in your life? Why?
My Mom was a single parent who worked hard and was resilient. She taught me the importance of being self-sufficient and never underestimating myself because of my stutter. She passed away in 2008, but I still see her qualities in myself today. I always keep her words close to my heart and hope to make her proud. Also, my husband, Dane, who has never wavered in his support of me and continues to push me to be the best version of myself.
What’s been the biggest obstacle in your life so far?
My stutter held me back in the past, and forced me to be stuck in my shell growing up. Ever since I moved to the US 10 years ago, that shell has broken and I am a completely different person now. I am confident, resilient and go after what I want.

What’s the single biggest problem you’d like to solve in your community?
I would like to see more women in higher positions who come from diverse cultural backgrounds. I personally know so many BIPOC women of color who are making strides in their fields and hope to see more of them shine! They deserve to be celebrated.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Be curious. Always be willing to learn.
One year from today, how do you hope you’re different?
I hope to be making bigger strides in my side hustle, also hope to learn how to become an even better leader.
